Pretty simple app, instead of sounding your phone alarm at a given point in time, it sounds it when you have reached a given point in space. As in, once it detects you have entered the vicinity of a set point in google maps, it will sound an alarm to wake you up.
This will be very useful for me because I keep travelling a lot in college bus and I fall asleep regularly. Although I have trained myself to wake up just before my stop arrives, I miss my stop and end up somewhere random because I overslept. This app could prevent that.
These apps already do exist, but the reason I want to still build this is:
- It’s a very easy app to build, probably could vibecode this in 3 hours max
- It also has a custom requirement: I want the alarm sound to play through only my headphones and not outside. Super embarrassing to have an alarm that wakes the rest of the bus up along with me.
